Am I an old lady now? When did this happen?!I’ve always used the plastic shower curtain rings that came with the cute, fun, basic, and cheap shower curtains or some equally cheap plastic ones from wherever I could find them. Who needs and even cares about ‘fancy’ shower curtain hooks? I’m not old and boring. I have colorful fun shower curtains and the rings don’t matter. After upgrading and making the adult purchase of a fabric shower curtain and a separate liner, my sister convinced me a nicer hook with 2 hooks would be life changing but I was skeptical. It wasn’t that difficult having to spend longer than I should admit to unclip each plastic ring and pull both or worse, only the plastic liner out so it could be washed. It was an annoying process for sure though so I gave in and ordered these to see what all the fuss was about.So I can’t call them life changing but these are amazing!! These are a shiny silver that matches my other bathroom fixtures. They are strong, lightweight, easy to hang, and roll really well. The best part is cleaning the curtain and liner is so much easier now! It slips off and back on to run through the washer in seconds! No more spending an embarrassing amount of time fighting with those plastic rings. These have removed the dread around the task of washing the shower curtain.They can’t be perfect though, right? Of course not. This isn’t a Hallmark movie. I have one possible complaint with these. It’s a non-issue for me but I could see it being problematic for some. They aren’t the quietest thing. If you yank the curtain open quickly it can make a bit of noise. However I’m not trying to sneak into the shower undetected so it’s not anything of concern for me, but I can see how it possibly could be for others. If you’re needing to be sneaky just slide them slowly and you’ll be fine. The kids will never hear you slip into the shower for the obvious but easy for adults hiding place and you can keep your hide and seek championships title.Overall these are well worth the money and are a huge upgrade from the plastic rings.
