The course is designed to give students lots of artistic freedom to explore the creative process and space to experiment with different techniques and materials whilst learning about different art styles from a range of art periods in history and cultures from around the world. Students will be encouraged to research and explore each topic and find reference material for their work.  Students may enjoy taking this course along side it’s companion course Art History Year 1. Students will receive an Art Kit as part of the course, which includes all of the materials needed for the year. Students will need to have access to a space where they can work each week for the class.
